Langley’s Darren Coleman heads to Massachusetts later this month to speak about his business and his experiences.

Darren Coleman is Massachusetts bound later this month.

The head of a Langley-based IT team has been asked to speak at Harvard University, during their business school’s Business Expert Forum.

“Being featured as a speaker for the Business Expert Forum at Harvard University is a huge honour,” said Coleman, owner of Coleman Technologies. He operates an information technology support provider that offers a range of services, management, and technology solutions for small- to mid-size businesses in Langley and the Lower Mainland.

He said it’s an “incredible honour” to not only be taking part in the event, but to be selected to speak and share his business insights with other attendees.

“I’m eager to take part in an event that is designed specifically to bring entrepreneurs together to learn, collaborate and better themselves professionally,” Coleman said.

The Business Expert Forum, running July 28 to 30, brings together a variety of international professionals, leaders, and entrepreneurs from countless industries for three days of networking, workshops, and keynote speakers.

Coleman is the first speaker set for Friday at the Harvard Faculty Club in Cambridge, MA.

He hopes to offer insights into his “journey as an entrepreneur and important milestones that helped him grow as a professional,” Coleman said. He also plans to address how personal values like commitment, character, and exceeding expectations are the fundamental tenants of his business philosophy.

“Connecting with other professionals to share experiences and expertise is a priority that I take very seriously,” said Coleman. “Learning from the experiences of others and connecting with a variety of perspectives is crucial in the development of any professional. I am honoured to be sharing my experiences and am eager to learn as much as I can to enrich my own approach to business.”
