Pretty in Pink
Don’t be surprised to see members of the Township of Langley Fire Department wearing somewhat unusual attire this month.
Staff from all seven Township fire halls, along with members of Bylaw Enforcement, will be trading in their uniforms for pink T-shirts during some of their shifts this October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Firefighter Terry Litven of Willoughby came up with the idea to show support for the cause, which was embraced by Protective Services staff and their families.
