In a Lather for Women’s Hospital

Volunteers scrubbed the Aldergrove Fire Hall #3 truck at the Bentley for Babies fundraiser last month in Aldergrove as firefighters watched. The annual car wash, barbecue and bottle drive for B.C. Women’s Hospital raised over 2,000.

In a family statement, Jeff, Shelly, Ava and Dylon Dixon of Aldergrove said, "The second annual Bentley 4 Babies fundraiser for B.C. Women’s Hospital has kept us extremely busy. We finally finished counting the bottles and our total is $2,153. We didn’t reach our goal of raising more than last year but we are still extremely happy with the turnout and the money that everyone helped us raise.

"We would like to say a big thanks to Ryan Hagen, Tim Emard, and Richie and to Hotsy Cleaning Systems and Mobile Service, to Abbotsford regional recycling and the Aldergrove Star, and of course to everyone that helped make this happen."
