Heritage apples celebrated
Heritage Apple Day on Sept. 29 at the Derby Reach Regional Park Heritage Area, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., gives the public a chance to get a taste of our heritage.
Take a guided tour of the old orchard or a historical walk. Watch an art show unfold, listen to live music, and try your hand at pioneer tasks and games.
Derby Reach/Brae Island Parks Association and Metro Vancouver Regional Parks host this free family event.
