Aldergrove’s Teresa Sperger greets the Cops for Cancer riding team in memory of her son Christopher, who passed away five years ago after a lengthy battle with cancer, at their Shortreed Elementary school stop.

The 26 member team and their full police escorts visited local schools and community points.

The 26 riders include local officers Const. Steve Dickinson, a B.C. Corrections officer and Team Captain, and Langley RCMP Constables Pamela Morrison, Brett Henderson and Karen Cryer (team trainer).
