Local firefighters are coming soon to a theatre, restaurant, or shopping mall near you.
Later this month, firefighters from all seven Township of Langley fire halls will be out in the community, boots in hand, to collect donations for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada.
The annual Boot Drive will take place on Friday evening September 28, and all day Saturday, September 29. Firefighters will be stationed throughout Langley Township wherever people gather, from grocery stores to pubs to the Colossus Theatre, to raise funds to fight Muscular Dystrophy, a neuromuscular disorder that weakens and wastes away the muscles that control body movement.
