Library to host Don Hunter in author reading
Don Hunter will be giving an author reading on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Fort Langley Library.
Hunter will be reading from his latest novel, Cooper and The Queen.
Hunter, a career journalist and long time B.C. writer, began writing for The Province newspaper in 1969, eventually becoming senior columnist of "Out and About". He also freelanced for the Star Weekly, and many other magazines and newspapers in North America and abroad.
A personal memoir of teaching in northern B.C. led to the movie and miniseries drama "9B" in 1989. He has conducted numerous readings and workshops. His other publications include: Incident at Willow Creek; Spinner’s Inlet; and Sasquatch/Bigfoot, The Search for North America’s Incredible Creature with Rene Dahinden.
