Langley is among the communities embracing Canadian culture over the final weekend of September.
Culture Days is an annual celebration of arts, culture and heritage in recognition of Canada’s diverse artistic and cultural mosaic.
Visitors to Culture Days events in the Langleys will be treated to a multitude of free, hands-on activities hosted by local artists, artisans, historians, organizations and arts enthusiasts Sept. 29 and 30, and Oct. 1.
“Culture Days is a Canada-wide initiative and grassroots movement that aims to build a greater understanding and deepen relationships between the arts and every neighbourhood and community,” BC Culture Days task force vice chair Howard Jang said. “This is a unique opportunity for the public to form connections and immerse themselves in the arts.”
Culture Days activities will be taking place at a variety of locations, including arts centres and community hubs.
