Foodie feast in downtown Langley this Saturday

The annual Fork & Finger Foodie Event shows off some of Langley City’s unique restaurants

Foodies, prepare your taste buds.

The annual Fork & Finger Foodie Event returns to Downtown Langley this Saturday, Aug. 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Gather with fellow food lovers to celebrate and sample dishes from some of Langley City’s unique restaurants.

A number of businesses will be offering $5 food samplers during the event. Check out 1 Fish 2 Fish Fresh Seafood Market, All Of Oils, Ban Chok Dee, Captain’s Galley Fish & Chips, Frosting Cupcakery & Bake Shop, Hot & Toasty Cafe, Lemon Bakery, Masala India Bistro, McBurney Coffee & Tea House, Rib & Chicken Restaurant, Shiraz Grill, Sticky’s Candy & Bakery and Twins Coffee for some tasty selections.

In McBurney Plaza there will be live cooking demonstrations and live entertainment throughout the day. Chef Sean Bone, a private chef and executive chef/owner of Osso Lunchroom will share expert tips on everything from vinaigrettes and dressings to handmade pasta and gelatos.

Fork & Finger passports will also be available to pick up in McBurney Plaza. Collect passport stamps by visiting participating restaurants for their $5 samplers. Return completed passports to the plaza to be entered to win over $1,000 Downtown Dollars.
