Langley East MLA Rich Coleman is one of the scheduled speakers at the upcoming Union of B.C. Municipalities annual convention.

Coleman, in addition to being the MLA, is the interim leader of the B.C. Liberal Party.

The 114th annual convention for B.C. municipalities is Sept. 25 to 29 in Vancouver. Other speakers include Premier John Horgan, Green Party leader Dr. Andrew Weaver, and keynote speaker Terry Milewski, a veteran CBC journalist.

Nearly 2,000 delegates are expected to attend the policy sessions at this year’s convention themed Roots to Results.

UBCM was formed in 1905 to provide a common voice for local government. More information at ubcm.ca.
