'Daddy’s Little Pumpkin' prepares for Aldergrove 'Wall of Lanterns'
Three year old Anderson Taylor checks out the pumpkins at Aldor Acres in Glen Valley.
This Saturday, Oct. 13 the farm hosts the Great Pumpkin Weigh-off at 12 noon, with some entries expected to top 1,000 lbs. This is followed on Sunday by the Pumpkin Run.
The Aldergrove Business Association is looking for volunteers for their upcoming event on Saturday, Oct 27, the second annual Wall O Lanterns.
Please reply directly to Bill Reid wallolantern@aldergroveba.ca if you can assist with one or more of the following tasks: parking assistance and traffic control; kids tent area; kids games area ( bouncy castle, rock climbing, horses, hay rides); concession; attendance greeters and money collection; pumpkin carving; setup and take down and cleanup the day before and after.
They hope to have enough volunteers to give all a 2-4 hour shift.
