The ‘Army’ Needs You to Help Fill this Space!
Major James Hagglund of the Salvation Army in Langley and staff are busily preparing for the November 10 opening of their new Thrift Store in Aldergrove, but they are appealling for the public’s help in providing donations to help fill the 8,000 square foot retail space.
Retail staff are being hired this week, new racks are being installed and quality used goods are being sorted and priced, but the Army is calling for donations of more quality used goods to be dropped off, during regular business hours only, please.
The thrift store, located at the former Fields Store site, will provide needed revenues for the operation of the Army’s Gateway of Hope emergency and transition shelter in Langley City.
