Aerospace industry to gather in Abbotsford

While the public flocks to the Abbotsford airshow, aerospace industry leaders will be gathering next door at the 2014 Aerospace, Defence & Security Expo Aug. 7 and 8 at Tradex.

The two-day expo will gather together federal and provincial government cabinet ministers and officials, aerospace industry experts and military and security-industry executives.

It's the third time Abbotsford has hosted the event, which is led by the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada.

The expo will include a trade show and professional forum with discussions focused on aerospace industry opportunities and strategies.

Last year's expo featured more than 300 delegates and 60 exhibitors from a range of companies.
