Federal Liberals hold picnic on Sunday at Walnut Grove Community Park

The Liberal Party of Canada is hosting a picnic in Walnut Grove Community Park, located on Walnut Grove Drive north of 88 Avenue, on Sunday.

The event takes place between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. It will offer an opportunity to meet members of the Langley-Aldergrove association of the Liberal Party, and also to meet John Aldag, who has been nominated by the Liberals in the new Cloverdale-Langley City riding.

The next federal election is expected in October, 2015. The Liberals have yet to nominate a candidate in Langley-Aldergrove, which includes most of Langley Township.

There will be free hot dogs and family activities at the picnic.
