The weather was good for the Great Pumpkin and Little Pumpkin 5K and 1K walk/runs at Aldor Acres farm in Langley on Sunday, sunny and warm.
But the downpour from the day before had soaked the ground and left it more than a little muddy, forcing a few participants to add rubber boots to their Halloween costumes.
About 50 people took part in the fundraiser for the Langley Meals on Wheels program.
