A well-established recovery home for men with substance abuse addictions is seeking to expand its services.

The Wagner Hills Farm Society has operated at 8061 - 264 Street for more than 30 years, and has generally been well-received by its neighbours over all these years.

Grnt Holcrombe of Westridge Land Consulting Co. has applied on behalf of the society to amend the Community Care Facility P-2J zoning for the property, to increase the maximum number of beds for the supportive addiction recovery program from 50 to 119. That number includes onsite staff.

The consultants and society will host a public information meeting that will allow the public to view the development proposal and to provide comments and other feedback to the project team prior to Langley Township council’s consideration of the application.

This meeting will be held Tuesday, Oct. 3, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Fort Langley Community Hall, 9167 Glover Road.
