Aldergrove Legion’s Sharon Brady passes

A long-serving member of the Aldergrove Legion passed away

A longtime resident of Aldergrove and long-serving member of the Aldergrove Legion Branch 265 passed away.

Sharon Brady passed away at 3 a.m. on Sept. 22, 2017, according to close friends.

Sharon Brady and her late husband, Bob Brady, had been mainstays in their service to the Legion here and across Canada. Both Sharon and Bob had served as president of the Aldergrove Legion branch, among other offices they had held.

Bob Brady had passed away in the company of friends while on a hunting trip to Princeton on Nov. 4, 2016.

Brady had retired in 2005 as a utilization technician for Terasen Gas and was married to Sharon for 42 years. They have two sons and two granddaughters.

Sharon Brady had been battling cancer in recent times.

Sharon Brady passed away at 3 a.m. on Sept. 22, 2017 at Abbotsford Hospital (further details will be published as they become available).
