Halloween may be over but one Fort Langley resident wants to keep the fun going this Friday, Nov. 3.

The farm owner happens to be a professional pyrotechnician who is putting on a ‘pretty spectacular’ fireworks show from his acreage at 9100 block of 222 Street at 8 p.m.

“He has taken out all the proper permits and his neighbours have all been notified. It’s going to a be pretty spectacular event and should last about 30 minutes,” said Township assistant fire chief Pat Walker.

So if you are in Langley and hear fireworks or are lucky enough to see the light show, the Township fire department knows about it, said Walker.

Fireworks are banned in both the Township and City for several years. However, if you apply and pay for the proper permits, you can put on fireworks.

Since banning fireworks and firecrackers, mischief fires have been way down on Halloween night.
