Aldergrove singer-guitarist Joel Brown had a very difficult time after being born with serious cardiac problems more than 30 years ago.
BC Children's Hospital was there for him, providing the love and medical attention that gave him the gift of a healthy life today.
Brown has been paying back ever since and continues to do so. His last concert fundraiser in Aldergrove raised $3,000 for Children's Hospital and he returns this Friday evening for the second annual fundraiser with a merry band of musical brothers.
The all-ages acoustic musical concert takes place May 20 at Aldergrove's Del Pollo restaurant, and features performances by Dwayne Morgan, Whiskey Raven, Justin Koshman and Joel Brown.
There will also be a silent auction of donated items and services that evening, which will add to the total funds raised solely for Children's Hospital.
Last year more than 84,000 children were treated at Children's Hospital, touching the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. Every cent raised by the May 20 event will go to this cause.
