One person burned in Aldergrove shed fire

Fire broke out just before noon in Aldergrove. Cause of blaze is unknown.

One person taken to hospital after shed fire in Aldergrove on Tuesday.

A person was treated for first degree burns and smoke inhalation after a fire broke out inside a shed in Aldergrove on Tuesday.

Just before noon, Township fire crews and B.C. Ambulance were called to the shed fire in the 27100 block of 24 Avenue. According to Township assistant fire chief Bruce Ferguson, firefighters were only there for 45 minutes to put out the blaze.

It's not known at this time what the person was doing in the shed or what caused the blaze.
