DAVY, Doris Remona, a long-time resident of Langley passed away at the Langley Memorial Hospice, Langley, B.C. on Thursday, October 19, 2006. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by family and friends. Doris is survived by her husband, Bill, son Paul, and daughter Judy. Doris was Board Treasurer of the Fraser Valley Farm Direct Marketing Association and a Mentor for the Agriculture Mentor Program - Small Acreage. She was also a member of the Investment Agriculture Foundation of B.C. and the Food Quality and Safety Initiative Advisory Committee. Doris was Treasurer and Membership Coordinator for the Langley Bee Club and was an honorary life-time member of the Langley Garden Club. She was well known for her wonderful garden and love of flowers. To many, Doris was known as the ''Flower Lady'', having owned and operated ''Flowers From A Country Garden'' for many years with her husband. No service is to be held by her request and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doris's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
