EDWARD LESLIE JONES

Born in London, England July 5th, 1908, passed away November 12, 2008. Predeceased by his wife Mollie in December 1998. Survived by his children, Edna (Gordon), Brenda (Bob), Harry (Diane, Neil (Cathy); 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. Ed was a pioneer of Langley, having lived here since 1922. He and his father farmed in Willoughby, where he operated Iceberg Meats. Join us in remembering Ed. Bring your tales of his escapades or your favourite memory. A memorial service will be held at Milner Chapel, 6716-216 St., Langley on November 30th, 2008 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Milner Chapel would be appreciated. Thanks to Dr. VanWyck, and thank you to all the special people of Highland Lodge for the compassionate care of Ed during his brief stay.
A note from Ed: "Now, I have something to tell you. Since my 100th birthday I've been sitting on my arse doing nothing. I figured, I better get a job. I applied to be the ghost of Langley. I finally got the job! So folks, I have got to go.
