The family of Elmer is sad to announce his passing in Penticton Regional Hospital on September 25, 2010. He was born in Dalmaney, Sask., November 17, 1915. He will be greatly missed by Ann, his loving wife of 70 years, daughters Barb (Don) Waines; Debbie (Rod) Little; Dick, Bob (Pam); Ed, and Bill (Debee), 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Also survived by one sister Olga and several nieces and nephews. Elmer lived in Aldergrove from 1950 to 1975 when he retired to the Okanagan. He was the successful owner and operator of Quiring Motors Ltd.

A memorial gathering to celebrate his life will be held at the Aldergrove Old Age Pensioners' Hall, 3150 273rd Street on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice, or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
