Iris Coghlan (Seager)
Oct. 20, 1913 - July 27, 2006
It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Iris, she passed quietly in her 93rd year at Maplewood House, Abbotsford after a short illness.
Born Iris Seager, Faversham, England, and came to Manitoba in her early teens and later moved to B.C. She trained as a hair dresser and had her own shop BeautyNook in Mission for 10 years before moving to the family farm in Mt. Lehman where they looked over the farm my dad was born and raised on. In 2004 Iris published the family history which she had worked on for over 15 years. THE COGHLAN'S OF MT. LEHMAN.
She leaves behind daughter Wendy, 2 sisters in law Nellie and Beatrice, cousins and nieces and nephews. Her husband Frank passed in May 2005.
