SMITH, Ronald
Ronald N.E. Smith aged 88 years. Born August 5, 1926 in Little Shrewley, England. Entered into rest December 26, 2014 in Abbotsford, BC. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jean and daughters Diane (Gene) Andelini and Lyn (James) Smith, grandchildren Travis (Colleen) Anderlini and Amanda (Dave) Blaquiere, great grandchildren Jaime, Troy, Lauren, Justine and Olivia,
many nieces and nephews, and half-brother Frank (Marg) Jackson. Ron also leaves many relatives and friends. Ron was a founding member and the first fire chief of Township No. 6 hall and a 40 year employee of the Otter Co-op. A private family service was held January 3, 2015. The family would like to invite all of Ron's friends to his Celebration of Life on January 10, 2015 from 1-3pm at the Langley Seniors Recreation and Resources Centre at 20605 - 51B Avenue in Langley, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the B.C. Children's Hospital Foundation in Ron's memory.
