GROOT, Shirley-Ann. Shirley-Ann was born in Vernon, B.C. and passed away August 29, 2006 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her mother Alice deRuiter on June 14, 1990. Survived by her loving partner Mike Muise; son Brent;
father Albert deRuiter and his wife Joyce; brother Mark deRuiter and his wife Joanne; nephews Nicholas and Michael; uncles Herb deRuiter; Dick (Janny) Broekhuizen and family of Vernon, B.C.; and her family in Holland. A Memorial Service to celebrate Shirley-Ann's life was held on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Personal Alternative Funeral Services. Donations in memory of
