FORD, William Alfred "Bill", passed away peacefully, after a long struggle with cancer, at Langley, B.C. on Sunday March 23, 2008. Bill was 86 years of age. He was predeceased by Reta, his loving wife. He is survived by his children, Barry Ford, Jude Stevenson and her husband Ron and Kim Ford and his wife Patricia. Bill also leaves his grandchildren, David (Sunita),
Kevin (Ange), Kris (Sheila) and Marty (Laura); his great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Isabelle, as well as his brothers, Roy and Bob and sister
Ruby; nieces, nephews and many, many dear friends. Since his service in the R.C.A.F., Bill remained very active in the Legion, serving as president of Branch No. 265 several times. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday April 5, 2008 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 265, 26607 Fraser Highway, in Aldergrove B.C. The Legion Chaplain, Rev Ken Dean, will officiate in a Legion Poppy
Service.
