Picked pockets
Editor:
Following on Wayne Boylan's letter about ICBC brass raking in the dough, they sure do and the sense of entitlement is absurd. It is disturbing, unsustainable and way out of balance. Is there no shame in taking such a high remuneration from ICBC shareholders?
This is a public enterprise, not free enterprise. And they hold a billy club to ensure compliance in the end.
That applies to TransLink also. What happened to being subject to world market realities? Do they feel they do not have to adhere to any discipline?
Think again, all of you.The common citizens are fed up with our pockets forever being picked. Perhaps 2012 will be the year for some reappraisal.
Perhaps some sort of B.C.-inspired Tea Party would be in order.
