Play ball for Devon
Aldergrove's Devon Sutton-Havard may have lost his life to cancer four years ago, but his spirit is very much alive and honoured in the fourth annual Devon Sutton-Havard Junior Mens' Memorial Baseball Tournament.
This event begins Thursday, July 12 at 6 p.m. and runs through to Sunday the 15th at the Aldergrove Athletic Park field. Eight teams, including the Aldergrove Cubs, will entertain with high-calibre baseball and all funds raised through entries, barbecues and raffles for prizes, donated by local and district companies, will be donated to the B.C. Cancer Foundation.
Your support to end cancer and to remember Devon is valued. It is not only Devon's spirit that is represented by this tournament but also the caring spirit that is Aldergrove. Let's play ball!
