Aldergrove Basketball Club’s junior boys kicked off the second week of action in the Abbotsford Basketball Association fall league, with a tough 38-61 loss to Abby United Blanco.

ABC fell behind 7-2 early in the first two minutes and tried to play catch up all game long.

Led again by U’Shaun Campbell’s 18 points, ten rebounds, five assists and four steals it was a hard fought game that saw the ABC boys down 16-28 at half.

The second half saw a strong surge by Campbell, Jacob Kautzman’s four points and eleven rebounds and Bryan Tran’s six points and seven rebounds.

Back up grade 10 point guard Nathan Truong came off the bench and hit a big shot to put ABC down by only 16 points but that is the closest they got.

ABC could hold their heads up high at the final buzzer by not giving up and playing until the end of the game.

ABC Junior Boys’ next game is Sunday, Oct. 15, 11:30 a.m. versus Damesh Punjabi School at Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford.
