There will be no repeat as league champions for the Aldergrove Kodiaks this year. The junior B hockey club, which won the Pacific International Junior Hockey League last season, failed to qualify for the 2011 post-season. The Mission Icebreakers scored a 4-3 overtime victory over the Abbotsford Pilots on Friday night, and with the result finished two points ahead of the Kodiaks in the race for the fourth playoff spot in the Harold Brittain Conference. Aldergrove fell 3-1 to the Port Moody Black Panthers on Saturday night in their season finale. Tyson Solotki tied the score at one early in the third, but the Port Moody special teams took over, notching a power-play and short-handed goal for the final score. The Kodiaks finished the season 15-22-9 for 39 points.
