The Aldergrove Peewee C3 Pirates finished third out of 14 teams at a Nanaimo tournament two weekends ago.
The boys and girl aged 11-12 lost a close semi-final game for the outstanding finish, thanks to the team effort and coaching of Russ Iwanson, Ken McPhalen and Darrel Sitch.
