High school basketball players looking to take their game to the next level gathered at the Langley Events Centre over the weekend.

North Pole Hoops held its B.C. Showcase event at the LEC from Sept. 1 to 3. This is the third year that the events centre has hosted this showcase, which shines a spotlight on nearly 40 provincial high school basketball players from Grades 9 to 12. Players came from as far away as Gibsons, Kelowna, and Kamloops to participate.

North Pole Hoops has developed a wide network of NCAA, CIS, CCAA and JUCO programs to bridge Canada’s top talent. According to North Pole Hoops, the showcase “offers extensive national media coverage through NorthPoleHoops.com, and a challenging environment for prospects to compete head-to-head, while being evaluated by post-secondary coaches.”
