Saints tryouts continue

On Saturday, Feb. 12, the Mid-Valley Saints held their first tryout at the Abbotsford Agri Barn. The team is hoping to have an outdoor practice at Aldergrove Athletic Park field next weekend. Tryouts continue until Feb. 22 when the team lineup will be announced.

The Saints are a Midget AAA Baseball Team comprised of players from Abbotsford and Aldergrove Minor Baseball Associations. This joint venture has been set up to encourage the 15 to 18 year old players to keep playing at the highest level of B.C. Minor Baseball.

The Saints will play 44 regular season games with the top eight teams advancing to the Provincial Championships in August.
