Super Steve’s Tire & Mechanical Ltd. is a relatively new business in Aldergrove but there are experienced and expert hands behind the driving wheel.
Manager Chad Therres is a partner in the business, along with the Nicholson brothers, Craig, Brian and Steve, of Aldergrove’s Nicholson Group of Companies. The Nicholson Group’s main focus is on trucking and transport but the opportunity for Super Steve’s came up when the shop on 264 Street became available a year ago after Midway Tires relocated to Gloucester Industrial Estates.
Super Steve’s has expanded the services at the shop to include mechanical repairs to cars and light trucks, as well as tire sales and service for big and small vehicles.
Chad Therres, who has 12 years experience in the tire business, now has six staff, three in the mechanical shop and three in the tire shop.
Super Steve’s is a significant contributor to community causes, from sponsoring the Aldergrove Kodiaks Junior Hockey team to the full sponsorship of the star mainstage concerts at the Aldergrove Fair Days, which featured the SRO performance by Trooper last July.
