The Aldergrove Lions Club's next community spaghetti dinner is on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
For $8 per plate, community members can enjoy a freshly cooked spaghetti and meatball dinner at the Lions Grove Estate Rec Centre starting at 6 p.m.
Those who can't make it have nothing to fear, as the dinners are held monthly on the last Monday of the month, explained Tom Latter, secretary and treasurer of the club.
"The primary goal of the spaghetti dinners is to offer to the community a focal point to socialize and learn about the Lions club programs," Latter said.
Food is purchased locally and prepared in the kitchen at the recreation hall by club members.
Walk ins are welcome, and take out is available for those that prefer it, Latter noted.
"We have the ability to raise funds and then use these funds for humanitarian purposes in our Aldergrove community, and if the need to others worldwide," he said.
Latter added that new members are welcome to join the club, and can reach out by calling 604-897-8433.
The Lions rec centre is located at 2888 273 St.
