Austin Bennett was a proud winner of trophies for both the soap box deby and the crazy wheels race at Aldergrove Mini Fest on Saturday. Bennett, 8 and a student at Shortreed elementary, is a racing enthusiast in his third year of soap box racing, his second year of quarter midget racing and his first attempt at the crazy wheels race.

Austin Bennett was a proud winner of trophies for both the soap box deby and the crazy wheels race at Aldergrove Mini Fest on Saturday. Bennett, 8 and a student at Shortreed elementary, is a racing enthusiast in his third year of soap box racing, his second year of quarter midget racing and his first attempt at the crazy wheels race. His parents, Patty and Grant, helped Austin build his crazy wheels entry from parts lying around the family garage.
