It's an "Earth Day Deal" on compost soil conditioner that will have your garden blooming and blossoming in time for the Aldergrove Fair this summer.

Bring a large garbage can or trailer to Aldergrove Save-on Foods this Saturday, April 21 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. and a Bobcat will load you up with all the nutrient rich soil conditioner you need.

The Mission Compost Soil Conditioner is made in Mount Lehman, and is used for mulching or mixing, as it is too rich to use for a growing medium on its own.

It was developed by Dr. John Paul, a soil scientist and president of Transform Compost Systems. He believes that composting and returning organic matter to our soil is vital to the health of our soil, and of our planet. Transform has been producing valuable composts and soil conditioners for more than 10 years, and is now producing compost from the curbside organics collection program with the District of Mission. There are no chemicals or other ingredients added to this compost.

The compost will be sold at a bargain price of $4.99 for a filled garbage can or $30 per yard loaded onto your trailer. As a bonus, compost buyers will receive a free hotdog from Save-on Foods.
