Help needed to keep Christmas tradition alive

Board members and committee chairs are being sought by the Christmas in Williams Park Society to help continue a favourite Langley holiday tradition.

Board members and committee chairs are being sought by the Christmas in Williams Park Society to help continue a favourite Langley holiday tradition.

The Christmas in Williams Park Society, which has helped present the annual event for more than 20 years, needs people to serve on its board and to head up committees that will oversee lights and decorations, set-up and take-down, volunteers, and finances.

Every year, Williams Park is transformed into a winter wonderland of free displays, lights, and holiday activities that attract close to 5,000 visitors from throughout the Lower Mainland. It hopes that individuals will get on board to help with the continued planning and organizing.
