Langley Township fire halls host families

The seven Township fire halls welcome visits from families next week.

A chance for children to visit a fire hall, meet local firefighters, and even sit in a fire truck will be offered next week when Langley Township fire department holds its family nights at its seven fire halls.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their cameras, take a tour, and enjoy a hands-on look at what it is like inside the community’s fire halls.

The family nights run Tuesday, June 25, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Hall 3 (Aldergrove), 26316 – 30 Ave.; Hall 5 (Brookswood), 20355 – 32 Ave.; Hall 6 (Murrayville), 22170 – 50 Ave. and Hall 7 (Otter), 3876 – 248 St.

The events will be held Wednesday, June 26 from  6:30 to 8 p.m. at Hall 2 (Fort Langley), 23137 – 96 Ave.; Hall 4 (Willoughby), 20253 – 72 Ave. and Hall 8 (Walnut Grove), 9580 – 208 St.
