Good weather, ball games and celebrities brought the crowds out to Aldergrove on Saturday as the Aldergrove Days Slo-pitch Tournament returned to local parks.
Among the special guests were retired Canucks Dave Babych and Gino Odjick, retired Blue Jays Kelly Gruber and actress Katie Stuart who were there to support Andy Bhatti’s Interventions and Addiction Services.
The celebrities showed their prowess on the ball field and signed autographs and posed for photos with fans, while 48 teams played a series of games at eight local ball fields in Aldergrove and Bradner.
The tournament continues on Sunday.
