Carolyn Reimer with her children

Reimer family gives back to their community

Even at her young age, Clare is no stranger to giving back to the community.

Carolyn Reimer with her children, Peter, 6, and Clare, 8, stand in front of some of the thousands of seedlings and trees that were used to reclaim a former raspberry field located in Aldergrove Regional Park.

Even at her young age, Clare is no stranger to giving back to the community.

She just had her birthday and instead of presents she asked for donations to benefit marine mammal care, the sea otters at the Vancouver Aquarium.

This is the third year in row Clare has raised money instead of getting birthday gifts and this time around she raised $170.
