Langley Community Services is welcoming everyone to its Community Health & Wellness Fair/Family Fun Day on Saturday, Sept. 23.
The free festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Langley Community Services building, 5339 207 St.
“The purpose of the event is to promote and celebrate health and wellness initiatives in the community alongside our new immigrant families (that are) providing leadership and hosting support to the event,” said Julie Clayton, community developer/refugee health care consultant with Langley Community Services Society (LCSS).
Tentatively scheduled events include a bouncy castle, arts and crafts, facepainting, games, an international food tasting station, free community barbecue, and prizes including a large assortment of school bags with supplies.
