Located in the northwest corner of Langley, the neighbourhood of Walnut Grove is where families come to live and play.

Walnut Grove is one of the largest residential neighbourhoods in Langley, with a population of nearly 25,000 residents. It’s home to a plethora of parks, playing fields, playgrounds, a water park and Langley’s largest swimming pool and public ice skating rink.

Its close proximity to the freeway and connection to the Golden Ears Bridge makes it ideal for commuters. It’s also a great place for businesses to flourish.

If this neighbourhood has a theme, it is fitness. There is a large running culture in Walnut Grove. Most evenings, groups of runners can be seen, as can cyclists, walkers and families out for stroll.

From an oyster bar and what many residents argue is the best Chinese food around, to bubble tea and pizza places, Walnut Grove offers a wide range of options, with flavours from around the world. As well as several high-end dining options, you can also find your favourite chain restaurants. During the Metropolitan Opera season, performances are streamed live to the Langley theatre from the stage in New York City.

If you are looking for great live entertainment without having to leave the neighbourhood, Theatre in the Grove offers dinner theatre, with plays and live comedy scheduled throughout the year. Next up is Arsenic and Old Lace, which will hit the stage in October.

Karaoke is also a popular pastime in at least one of the many popular pubs in Walnut Grove.
