People were lining up before the doors opened Saturday for the start of the Langley Weavers’ and Spinners’ Guild annual juried show and sale at the West Langley Community Hall at 9400 208 St.

Held Saturday and Sunday, the two-day sale features woven, knitted, spun and felted items handcrafted by Guild members as well as a wide variety of products handmade by guest artisans.
For fellow fibre artists, there is yarn, fibre, supplies and equipment at the sale.
Formed in 1971, the Guild's stated goal is "to promote our craft by educating the public and encouraging our members to keep the fibre arts alive and thriving."
