Langley Township hosted a variety of B.C. Youth Week (May 1-7) activities, including a "Chill and Grill" at Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre's skateboard park.
For a couple hours after school on May 6 dozens of youths partook in scooter and bike competitions, enjoyed hot dogs and helped paint a banner in appreciation of the free fun in the park on a beautiful sunny afternoon.
The Township hosted a variety of events during the week, such as a Southside Luau Pool Party at W.C. Blair rec centre, a Grade 6-7 Dance at Walnut Grove Community Centre, 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament and Skate Park Jam at Walnut Grove Community Centre, among other events.
