FLAGstop Gallery, the summer home of the Fort Langley Artists Group (FLAG), is opening its final show and sale of the summer.

The Four Seasons will be displayed on the historic baggage room walls of the old CN train station from Saturday, Aug. 5 through to Labour Day, Sept. 4.

“This show and sale will be our last opportunity of the summer to welcome the public to our gallery,” said artist Margo Harrison.

“We love sharing our art with people from the community and the many tourists who come to Fort Langley,” she added.

In the meantime, save the date for Labour Day Artists in Action paint-in, which takes place Sept. 4 from 1 to 4 p.m.

That’s when the FLAGGIES, as Harrison calls them, will wind up the season by gathering at the CN Station site to do demonstrations of painting, drawing, and sculpting for the enjoyment of the public.

FLAGstop Gallery is open every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday Monday through Labour Day from noon to 4 p.m. at 23245 Mavis Ave. in Fort Langley.

The following members are exhibiting this year: Alison Philpott, Beverly Lawrence, Diane Zepeski, Ela Cholewa, Eileen Butler, Felicity Holmes, Gabrielle Strauss, Gail Simpson, Margo Harrison, Marguerite Whelton, Jeanie Shilton, Kim Bucholtz, Mary-Ann Snell, and Pat Weibelzahl.
