• Scarecrow Festival launch party: Fifth annual scarecrow festival runs Sept. 21 to Halloween. • Fraser Valley Rock and Gem Show: Club’s diamond anniversary show and sale is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 22 at the Aldergrove Old Age Pensioners Hall, 3015 273rd St. Dealers will have rocks, gems, crystals, minerals, jewelry, and supplies.
