Log home show coming to Tradex

The Abbotsford-based show features more than 75 exhibitors and seminars and four structures built on site.

The BC Log Home, Timber Frame and Country Living Show returns to Tradex in Abbotsford this weekend, March 9-10.

The show features more than 75 exhibitors and seminars and four actual structures built right on site, including a log home by Maurer Log Homes of Penticton which is fully landscaped by Mijodelu Landscaping. There is also three other structures by Pioneer Log Home, Trout Creek Timber Frame and Artisan Log Homes.

This show is ideal for anyone who has or who is thinking of owning a log or timber frame home or cabin.

Visitors will see the latest products and technologies from the leaders of the log and timber frame home industry and the products and services needed for them, including alternative energy, tanks, generators and outdoor furniture.

This year, the show is presenting Angie Quaale, BC’s Queen of the Barbecue and owner of Well Seasoned, a gourmet food store.

Quaale will be transforming Tradex into a “foodie paradise” with her products, demonstrations and recipes.

Barbecues, cottage and country living go hand in hand and make Quaale the perfect ingredient in this recipe for a great show. Her demonstrations take place at 1 and 3 p.m. on both days of the event.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days and aAdmission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (60+), $6 for juniors (six-16) and children under six are free.

There is also a family pass available (two adults,two kids) for $25.
