Langley mentoring group hosting book sale

Public can donate gently used, appropriate books to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley representatives gathered with Langley City and provincial elected officials for a flag raising Sept. 13, 2024.

The public has until Thursday, March 27, to donate gently used books for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley Book Sale that weekend.

Donations can be dropped off at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley office, #201-20538 Fraser Hwy., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, or from March 24 to 27, between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Nicomekl Elementary School, 20050 53 Ave.

All proceeds go directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley mentorship programs.

The books sale runs Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and then on Sunday, March 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Books range from $1.66 to $5 with children’s books mostly priced at $2. Then from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, the price is 50 per cent off.
